B.G. Firmani in Berlin

About me...

My debut novel, Time's a Thief, was published by Doubleday in 2017 and released as a paperback in 2018. I've published fiction in the Bellevue Literary Review, BOMB, the Kenyon Review, the Michigan Quarterly Review, Painted Bride Quarterly, and Philadelphia Stories. I'm a graduate of Barnard College and Brown University, have been a resident at the MacDowell Colony and Yaddo, and was a 2012 Fellow in Fiction from the New York Foundation for the Arts. I live in NYC and write a very occasional blog about Italian-American literature and folkways called Forte e Gentile (and go here for its earlier incarnation). I have a day job. I like my day job. People find this weird.
